Cat Spray Stop - Watch This Animated Vsl!

Location. It applies to real estate and it most definitely applies to litter boxes. Unfortunately, many owners don’t realize the importance of placing it in a suitable location. The truth is, you can have the perfect box, filled with the highest quality litter in the world, but if it’s placed in an area that the cat finds unacceptable, it may be easily rejected.

Cat Spray Stop - Watch This Animated Vsl!There is actually one rule that cat owners should never break under any circumstances when it comes to its location: don’t put the litter box near the cat’s food and water.

Many owners mistakenly believe that having the box right next to the cat’s food will serve him as a constant reminder to him. Unfortunately, this plan can only backfire and you lay the groundwork for litter box rejection. Don’t forget that cats eliminate away from the nest.

By placing the food and box together you’ll only send a very confusing message. Thus, your cat will be forced to make a decision about whether to choose that area as a feeding station or as an elimination spot. Since the food is only available in only one area, he’ll search for another location for his other biological needs.

If you have no choice but to keep the food bowl and litter box in the same room, at least make the effort of placing them as far apart as possible.

The most common place owners put the box is in the bathroom. This is a good spot provided you have the room. It makes cleanup easy and it’s convenient in terms of your being able to regularly scoop it.

Remember, however, that if lots of steamy hot showers are taken in the bathroom it will be humid in there and that may cause the litter to take longer to dry.

Another popular location is the laundry room. Like the bathroom, the laundry room is usually not carpeted, which makes it ideal for cleanup. The downside is that if the washer goes into the spin cycle while the cats is in the box, the sudden noise could make the room lose its appeal.

Pick a spot in your home away from heavy traffic to provide your cat with a feeling of privacy and safety. However, don’t choose an area too remote or you’ll forget to check it on a daily basis. This one is perfect.

Wherever you locate the box, make sure you’ll remember to check it twice a day. If your indoor/outdoor cat doesn’t use a litter box and prefers the comforting effect of the great outdoors, keep a litter box indoors anyway in case he chooses not to go out in bad weather or for some other reason.

In a multicat household, more than one box will be needed. This is not just because one box gets dirty too quickly, but also because some cats object to sharing and one cat may be too intimidated to pass another cat in order to get to his litter box. The rule is to have the same number of boxes as you have cats.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH YOUR OLD EGGSHELLS?!

You could compost them and use them in your garden – which is great!

But what I like to do is feed the eggshells back to our hens.

This is an awesome natural calcium supplement for the hens – which is really important if your hens are in a run, and unable to forage for bugs to get their calcium.

Check out the video to see how to feed eggshells back to your hens – I have an easy trick so you don’t have to bust up a blender to do it

The Intriguing Story of the Andover Skull

The information is sketchy but the basis of the story is that at sometime during the 1950’s a newly married couple, Mr F and Mrs B Morris, moved to Andover, Massachusetts USA.

They were disappointed to discover the house they had purchased had not been fully emptied and that the attic remained stacked with books, broken furniture and other such possessions. A year or so after moving in Mrs Morris finally decided to empty the attic and, in the process, found a heavy wooden box which had been nailed shut. That evening her husband opened the box and together they discovered a large and disturbing skull.

It had unusually big eye sockets and several pieces of the bone cranium were broken. There were strange carvings on the front left of the skull but the most interesting part of the discovery were its canine teeth which were strangely elongated. Overall the skull was larger than an average human’s and had a distinctive domed forehead. Mr Morris glued the skull fragments together and apparently kept it in his study where he would show it to curious friends and visitors. After some months Mrs Morris became distressed by its presence and insisted that it be reburied as she had convinced herself that it was demonic or at least the skull of a powerful Indian medicine man. Instead, Mr Morris allegedly took the skull to a nearby Museum of Archaeology which specialised in Native American history.

Catch a small pig eating the crop

Pigs are big, intelligent animals that are usually raised for their delicious meat on farms. They have a reputation for eating and eating and only stopping when the food is all gone. Sometimes, in cartoons, they're even shown eating old garbage like tin cans and boots! These depictions are a bit exaggerated, but they do prompt people to ask, "What do pigs eat?" The answer is that those cartoons are only a bit exaggerated, as pigs will eat nearly anything.

After Workout.

The world as we know it, is full of liars. They are easily found on the internet and its applications where it’s a lot easier to lie about anything because of “technical mistakes”. Here are some examples.

‘Hateful’ swastika daubed outside London station

The graffiti was found on a wall besides Drayton Park station, N5, with a large cross inside a circle daubed on an adjacent wall.

After being reported to the police on Sunday afternoon by a member of the public, the graffiti was left on show until Wednesday.

Islington Council said it was reported to them on 30 January, adding that: “We condemn all forms of hate crime, and are appalled at this extremely offensive and hateful graffiti”.

The Council said: “A team was sent to remove this graffiti as soon as it was reported to them, and we thank the Twitter user who brought this to our attention. We urge residents who see graffiti of this kind to report it to police as a hate crime. If residents also report hateful graffiti the council we will remove it as soon as possible.”

The Metropolitan Police told Jewish News they “are aware of the graffiti and have arranged an appointment in respect of this matter”.

The Community Security Trust said: “This disgusting graffiti is understandably upsetting for anybody who sees it. We have contacted Islington Council to ask for it to be removed as soon as possible.”
